20 km north of Angoulême, Jauldes has preserved a beautiful rural heritage. Between cultures and forests, do not hesitate to linger in its villages full of the charm conferred on them by the small limestone rubble stones typical of old buildings.

From the town hall, take the direction of Brie and follow the road for 200m to the Aiguille.

Take the path to the right, go along the Aiguille stable and continue for 500m.

Turn left and drive to the entrance to the village of Margnac. Turn right twice and continue in the undergrowth.

Follow the small path to the right, join the road to Marnac.
Just after entering the village, see at the end of the dead end on the left the house where Father de la Brosse was born in 1724 and the tribute plaque affixed next to the gate.
Continue along Rue du Père de la Brosse in the village, turn left at the intersection - see the cross on the low wall - then immediately left again.
Continue on the grassy path to the village of Nouailles.

At the end of the path, follow the road to the right.
Before the first house on the left, climb the small steps in the embankment. Walk along the wall of the Logis de la Motte and arrive at a road that you cross - take the time to take a tour of the villages of La Motte and Chez Forgeau.

Leave this path to turn right in front of a hedge. Ignore the first path on the left and take the second at the entrance to the Braconne Forest.

At the intersection, turn left like the GR® de Pays. Turn right and follow the winding path to the village (RD11).
