Your itinerary

Step 1

Take the old tourist road for 1 km.
9 original interpretation stations materialized by kilometer markers allow you to (re)discover the Anguienne valley. Under the viaduct inaugurated in 2004, the Department has made arrangements and footbridges to cross the Anguienne. To see on the other bank, off the circuit, the fountain of Lyon Saint Marc.

Step 2

After the viaduct, turn left and follow the path that climbs gently into the valley of Bressour.
At the level of the block of stone at the top, take the path on the right which enters the wood and leads to the village of Le Peux.
At the end of the beautiful forest path, continue on the road until the bend and go down the steep path to the right which joins the tourist route.

Step 3

Take the road again to the right, go back under the viaduct to marker N°8.

Step 4

Climb the path on the right – admire the cedars on the right in the bend and just after on the left the small Simonette fountain (private).
At the height of the Logis de Frégeneuil – which can be visited by appointment – ​​continue on the road which descends.

Step 5

Turn left into rue des Robertes then avenue du Pétureau on the left. Take the first left towards the charming Charlemagne Fountain – before turning, go back and forth to discover the Pétureau Merovingian cemetery 100 m away.

Step 6

After a refreshing stop at the Charlemagne fountain, take the path back to the Cerisier fountain 700 m away.

Step 7

Take the small road on the left which descends towards the road to Saint Marc, turn left to reach the starting point.
